The situation is much calmer now that Claire Black has received a fresh, new professional pedicure compliments of Foot Patrol. She is escorted home by Foot Inspector Archer Legend and then he explains that a final foot inspection is required to ensure all is in order. Eager to get her life back on the right track, Claire agrees to follow the inspector’s guidance. Archer performs a thorough inspection of Claire’s size sevens and pronounces them approved and street legal. Before the foot inspector departs, he cannot help but bask in the glory of his good deed. Feeling like a real hero, the inspector suggests to Claire that she offer him a special thank you for his job well done. As Archer puts it: he’s given Claire back her life, so maybe she can give him about ten minutes of pleasure. Claire agrees with a huge smile.
