It's naptime but my pacifier is nowhere to be found. I looked everywhere and it's gone! Mommy usually has a spare one for me, so I look in over overnight bag she packed when we stayed at her friend's house the other week. My pacifier isn't in there, but there's a funny looking, long, rubber thing that is in there. I've seen Mommy suck on it when she didn't think I was looking, and it made her really happy. So I decide to try it out, because it must be a big girl pacifier. I suck on it, moving it around my mouth, at some points I get a bit eager and gag on the big girl pacifier. It tickles my throat and makes my eyes water, but I keep sucking on it trying to relax. After gagging a few more times, and getting all slobbery, I decide that maybe for this naptime I'll just stick to sucking my thumb. And maybe I'm not ready for a big girl pacifier after all.
