In the previous instalment, Attack of the 50ft Yeoman, a teleporter malfunction was exploited by the Yeoman and resulted in the crew being shrunk. However, the Yeoman decides to use the exploit to invite the Science Officer in on the fun - so the two can combine to taunt and mock the miniaturised crew.
