I have shiny black patent leather loafers, and they're going to look amazing with my new short skater skirt, cropped cardigan and bare legs! Oh. They don't look so great once I try them on. They look clumpy and clumsy and they're not even that comfortable! I wonder - could I make them more stylish and more comfortable all in one go? My housemate has left his DIY equipment lying around. There's a saw, screwdrivers, a hammer, nails... I'm sure I can make these shoes better! I strip off my entire outfit, deciding that working nude will be better since there's no chance I'll damage my new clothes this way. To begin with, I saw down the back of the shoe. It's really satisfying! I try the new damaged shoes on, but I'm not satisfied. What about sawing the whole back portion of the shoe away? And how about redecorating the front of the shoe? I want to take the silly metallic bars off for a start. And maybe create cutaways at the front? Hmm, and how about painting them with red nail polish for a more dramatic look? Oh WOW!! These look amazing! It seems a shame to put the rest of the outfit on again now. The shoes alone make such a statement. Strutting up and down in my ruined shoes, I feel like the queen of the world!
