I start off naked (no nudity is visible) and bare-faced with my curly brown hair in a simple bun. I put on a flowery mini sundress and rub moisturizer on my face. I apply black eyeliner from the center of my eyes out into wings, and matte, bl**d red lipstick. I keep smearing my makeup and trying over and over, adding more, repeatedly apparently unsatisfied with how it looks. I trace my smile lines and dimples with the eyeliner and stretch my red lipstick into a wide smile. I take my hair down and it's messy and matted looking. I smile more the more messy I become. But it seems to fade. I keep smearing and adding and smearing and adding, rubbing the lipstick on my front teeth. I even put lipstick on you. I add a red circle to the tip of my nose. I laugh and play with my mouth and my spit mixed with lipstick, growing more and more satisfied and unhinged. This clip was inspired by my experiences as a neurodivergent trans man raised in a conservative evangelical community. It was shot in one take and largely improvised. It is not a polished piece, which is kind of the point. I'm really proud of it and I hope you enjoy it. The watermark shown in the preview is not in the clip.
