Dacey is about to leave to go swimming when she suddenly has trouble breathing and faints. Maria hears the commotion and comes running in to find Dacey resting on the floor. Scanning her body for any obstructions, and seeing nothing, Maria tries her best to perform CPR on her and to bring her back to consciousness. Frantically at first she pumps into her friend's chest, hoping to start her heartbeat again. After a few moments of panic she reminds herself to slow down, go in beat, and to switch from chest resuscitation to mouth ventilations. Maria does this at a 15:5 ratio (15 compressions and 5 breaths) ensuring that her stomach and lungs are viably filling with each breath. Finally Dacey flashes her eyes open in panic as she slowly adjusts to what has happened, not before Maria got to touch, grope, and feel Dacey a little all the while stealing a few kisses.
