Here is our CNY boy/girl special! Originally, I said that I wanted to dress my husband as Genghis Khan (which is really pronounced Chingis Khan, for those of you who didn't know), because I've always had a fantasy of being part of his harem. But then I thought about it a little more, and I was like, "You know, the Chinese might be pretty pissed if I included the Mongols in my CNY special." So we changed plans and decided to do a love story in the Han Dynasty instead. Looking back on it, I wish I had dressed my husband in a men's hanfu, instead of this ridiculous ass costume. I'm not going to lie; he looked pretty stupid in this warrior costume. That's the reason why I blurred his face whenever he was wearing the costume, was to hide him from the shame of wearing such a gimmicky outfit.
