I’m preparing for a visit to a doctor. I choose a dress and a pair of flip flops and leave. I arrive back, sporting thick bandages on both my big toes. I hobble to bed and remove painfully my shoes. Then I prop my feet up on a bed and rub my aching feet carefully, don’t touching the wrapped toes. I mix full body shots with close-ups of my feet.
