We knew we wanted to smush a cake together before we even got together. This scene has two cute girls in fishnets vs one unwitting cake, expertly decorated and doomed for destruction. The outside hosts a thick, creamy layer of white American buttercream, chosen for its ability to hold its shape under the bright lights with its high sugar content, and topped with a sprinkling of lavender sprinkles. The rim and sides of the cake are dappled with delicate pipings of mint-green icing with our names written out in perfect penmanship which is surrounded by an array of subtle dick graffiti so we could imagine smooshing them too. The inner layers of chocolate cake are padded with airy layers of merengue-infused Swiss buttercream and saturated with chocolate syrup for something sweet and spongy to mash between our fishnet-clad feet, ooze between our cute little toes, and turn from absolute perfection into a muddy puddle of sprinkles and buttery goodness while we tease the cake and each other in a messy game of footsie. From the first penetration of toes pointed downwards like a graceful swan diving gracefully into a pond, to the last vestige of recognizability being erased by our unforgiving feet, immerse yourself in the full sensory experience. We also offer cupcakes with contrasting crumb and frosting in bright colors to our ever-growing sacrificial puddle of sweet sludge — another casualty to the cake Gods. In true Squishes style, we focus entirely on our lower halves — anonymous calves bound in the black crisscrossing of our fish nets meld into delicate arches, the slight curve of the insole, and radiate out to our five toes.
