[11-2022] Shelly returns in this video for the OPandER archives. She is in the hospital because of irregular, fast heartbeat. She is on her hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown, with a nasal cannula and BP cuff placed and is hooked up to a 3 lead heart monitor. She breaths fast. The med team comes in and first they check her vitals with a stethoscope. After that they prep her for treatment, and place AED pads onto her chest, switching the nasal cannula to an O2 mask. They let her calm down and then the cardioversion treatment starts. Her heart rate no changed. The medical team performs many cycles but suddenly they realize they must start CPR immediately and ambu bag her. The defibrillator is charged again but there is no response after the first cycle. They must produce a few more cycles of resus until finally the patient's pulse returns to normal rhythm. Cardioversion, Nasal Cannula, O2 mask, BP, ECG, AED pads, CPR, Ambu bagging.
