Globe-trotting adventurer and ardent procurer of ancient artifacts, Rowena Reynolds (Raine), aka: Relic Huntress, stumbles across a unique find while exploring a series of Neolithic stone outcroppings — a clay tablet scrawled with curious runes nestled within a rocky crag. Intrigued , she retrieves the archaic relic and totes it along to one of her safehouses, where she hopes to discern its mysterious origins (and significance) amongst her accessible library of ancient manuscripts and tomes. But, what she uncovers proves to be far more insidious, as a hastily voiced incantation awakens the dark, devious, otherworldly powers lain dormant within the artifact — a pernicious, preternatural entity that manifests itself in the form of a tentacled monstrosity of unimaginable menace and malice that seeks to consume her, body and soul!
