In a land of giants towering tall, Lived a giantess and her mate in thrall. They had a new house, a cozy retreat, With lush greenery and a babbling brook so sweet. One day, the male giant strolled through the halls, And lo and behold, what did he find on the walls? Three gingerbread men, causing quite a ruckus, Frolicking about, being quite obnoxious. The giantess was not amused by their game, She knew that gingerbread men could be quite a pain. So, she declared, "We'll eat them all up, And send a message that they can't interrupt." And with that, they sat down to devour, The gingerbread men, whose fate had turned sour. With every bite, they savored the taste, Of the spicy ginger and the sweetness it embraced. The crumbs were scattered everywhere, But the giants didn't seem to care. For they had found a new source of delight, And their hunger had been whetted for the night. The gingerbread men were gone, but their quest had begun, To find more of these treats, and indulge in the fun. And so, they spent their days hunting down their prey, And savoring every last bite, day by day. In the end, the plague of gingerbread men, Had become a blessing, time and again. For the giants found joy in their sugary delight, A simple pleasure, in their daily sight.
