[04-2023] (English) Dianna is in the ICU after an HA. She is hooked up to a 3-lead heart monitor, with BP and nasal cannula inserted. The med team comes in and checks her vitals, auscultates her lungs (chest, back and heart). They then leave her to rest. Soon Dianna’s breathing worsens. She starts gasping and calling for help. The med team returns and places a 12 leads ECG onto her chest, places cuffs onto her limbs and starts the ECG exam. Soon Dianna’s breathing and pulse worsens, and the med team realizes they must start the resuscitation procedure immediately. They start CPR with deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response after a pronounced reaction. The med team continues resuscitation with more cycles of CPR, Ambu bagging and defibs. They produce deep and strong chest compressions, and the patient reacts again with pronounced defib jumps. They place the CPR board under the patient and produce a few more cycles of resus. Then the patient’s pulse returns to normal rhythm. A very nice ICU clip with exams, graphic CPR, Hollywood style defibs, ambu bagging, 12 lead ECG. For all resus fans and lovers of pronounced defibs.
