Asia is in the emergency room. Her heart beats irregularly, she struggles to breathe, she feels a weight on her chest. She moans and cries as the doctor and nurse try to examine her. The doctor cuts the girl's clothes, while the nurse helps Asia with her AMBU, they place electrodes on her chest. By monitoring the heart rhythm they realize that defibrillation will be needed, so they place the paddles on their chests and start the shocks. In the end, the girl's heart gives out definitively, the cardioversion does not bring any results and she collapses. This is how CPR and AMBU bagging began. The girl went into asystole several times, so intubation was necessary. The endotracheal tube is threaded and cycles of CPR continue. The defibrillator is also used several times on the girl's chest. After several more cycles her heart finally goes into fibrillation again, so the defibrillator shocks ring out in the emergency room.
