I hired an editor to do some work for me on a short film I created. At first everything seemed to be going well. The guy appeared to be professional and very good at his job so I felt comfortable putting my precious creation in his hands. We agreed to do half of the payment upfront and the other half ONCE the work was completed. He did the first half of the job but never completed it and still expected to be paid in full! Not on my watch! I invited him over to "discuss" the matter but really it was just a setup to get him there and SWALLOW him WHOLE!
