"You need to learn to contain yourself.. you're getting HUGE!" We were supposed to go out for dinner. Something nice. Fancy restaurant, nice food. It was going to be a wonderful, much needed romantic evening with my girlfriend. Or so I thought. Then I hear the doorbell ring, that's odd? We weren't expecting packages today. Moans of ecstasy follow. Did someone come over? Is she having an affair? If you consider an intimate encounter with a large meatlovers pizza an affair, then she was definitely having an affair. I was aware of her weight gain, the number on the scale has been slowly and steadily rising since we moved in together. I didn't mind the extra pounds at first. She was softer and her body felt nice and warm in bed. But this behavior- bending over a pizza box, shoving slice after slice down her throat minutes before our dinner date- SHOCKED me. I had no choice but to confront her. I may have been a little rude, grabbing her belly and shaking it. Telling her how fat she looks and that buying jeans in a larger size "just in case" she puts on weight is not a normal thing to do. But she has to come to her senses and stop this nonsense right? I mean she can't really be okay with gaining so much weight... Can she?
