Lured by the siren call of police activity, an intrepid blogger's dogged snooping leads her to the scene of the commotion. However, it's not so much the disturbing, grisly remains of the crime scene that captures her immediate attention, but, instead, the ornate, obsidian gem draped over the victim's desiccated skull. Undeterred, the covetous columnist slips on the necklace, admiring the crystal's many glistening facets - oblivious to the malevolent presence yet haunting the bauble... and now its bearer!
