At Week 35, Indica is thrown into a whirlwind of emotions as she grapples with the unexpected journey of pregnancy. Confusion and regret swirl through her mind as she goes through the challenges of managing contractions and the discomfort that comes with a growing belly. The sensation on Indica's tummy is electrifying and sharp, almost like a muscular cramp but intensified to a painful and agonizing level. With each wave of pain, she can't help but gasp and moan in anguish. The burning sensation momentarily subsides, only to return a few seconds later with even more intensity. Her pelvic muscles are tense and her sides ache, causing her to feel bloated and uncomfortable with each contraction. It's too soon! These must be Braxton Hicks contractions, Indica decides. As her Braxton Hicks Contractions continue to burn her belly up, she curls up on her back with her belly tucked in and her legs almost flailing from the pain. Indica desperately tries to catch her breath, but the intense pain from her contracting muscles and her aching back makes it difficult. Although the muscle spasms only last a few seconds, they seem to intensify with each passing moment, feeling as if her uterus is being ripped apart. Constant and considerably more intense contractions near the end of a pregnancy, around Week 35, are normal. However, if Indica's water breaks, she must take fast action, as these contractions are likely to lead to labor and delivery. With Indica’s pregnancy becoming more unpredictable, she grapples with the agonizing sensations of contractions at Week 35. As her belly grows and her body prepares for birth, the pains and discomfort only intensify. But little does she know, these Braxton Hicks Contractions are just a preview of the intense labor that lies ahead.
