On the edge of new discoveries our lady scientist here goes a little mad. She wants to rule the world and the gold fever got to her when she discovered the molecular shrinking potion. She tested it on all sorts of creatures but now it's time for human testing and that is not etic, therefor she applies some methods any respected scientist shouldn't. Though she is shy she is willing to go far lengths to see her project taking off and she could rule the world becoming a giant... Nervous about the pill not working, she raises the dose and the test project one ends up tiny because of excitation and over dose.
