Two married peasants who took a fall from grace after losing their fortune are at the mercy of an 18th century Baroness, whom they are hoping to work for as servants in the household. Applying for the job, the Baroness tells them the daily services they will preform for her, where they will live, and the clothes they will wear. Then, she tests them with foot worship to see if they are the right kind of help.
