You don’t know whether you’re awake right now or not until I turn your system on. You didn’t realize it was shut off. Who knows how long I left your system down. Besides a shock like sensation you barely notice when I turn your system on because I immediately turn it OFF; like a light switch I make you flicker. Your drone brain struggles to process thoughts until it completely gives up and stops functioning. After some time, though you have no idea how long, I summon you back to your body. You don’t realize how much consciousness I drained out until I inject it back into you.
