In the following scene, a nurse escorts Amy to the gynecology exam room. Amy undresses and sits on the exam table. The doctor examines her pubic area and performs a rectal palpation. After the exam, Amy dresses and returns to the office to continue the conversation about her upcoming surgery. Next, Amy is in her hospital bed, dressed in a hospital gown, awaiting a procedure in the pre-OR area. The nurses arrive and soon wheel her to the procedure room. There, the medical team, already dressed, helps her onto the table and begin preparations. They insert a feeding tube which is uncomfortable. They place a bouffant cap on her head, connect her to a 3 lead heart monitor, and apply a BP cuff. The team then helps her position her legs for the procedure and inserts a urinary and a rectal catheter, securing them with tape. Amy is now ready for the procedure.
