Katie arrives at the emergency room with chest pain and difficulty breathing. The visit begins, EKG electrodes are attached and the monitor begins to give unreassuring signals. The girl's heart beats irregularly and the situation worsens. Suddenly Katie has a respiratory crisis, the doctors lower the bed and help her breathe with the AMBU. The monitor starts to beep and CPR is administered to the girl. Chest compressions alternate with AMBU bagging and defibrillator shocks. After numerous cycles Katie is completely undressed, the Guedel cannula is inserted and the resuscitation maneuvers continue.
