Anna and Nathalia were lounging by the pool, soaking in the warm afternoon sun. The sparkling water reflected the light, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Anna, grinning ear to ear, leaned over to Nathalia, barely able to contain her excitement. “Nathalia, I have some news!” Anna chirped. “I’ve been seeing someone new, and I am *so* excited about him.” Nathalia glanced at her, intrigued. “Oh? Spill the details!” she said with a smile, expecting another lighthearted story. Anna giggled. “His name is Tony. He’s so sweet, and we’ve been on a few dates. I think this could be something serious!” Nathalia froze. “Tony?” she asked, her voice a little too calm. “Yeah, Tony! Isn’t it amazing?” Anna beamed, oblivious to Nathalia’s sudden tension. Nathalia’s mind raced. Tony... the guy she had been secretly crushing on for months. Her heart sank, jealousy flaring up, though she tried to hide it. "Anna, that’s the Tony I like," Nathalia blurted out, unable to hold it in. Anna blinked, the excitement draining from her face. “Wait, what? *That* Tony?” “Yes, *that* Tony!” Nathalia stood up, her tone more serious now. Anna looked shocked, but before things could get too heated, Nathalia poked her in the side, making her friend yelp. “You knew I liked him!” Nathalia teased, turning their tension into playful retaliation. Anna gasped, laughing as she fought back, tickling Nathalia’s ribs. “I had no idea!” she giggled between breaths, trying to defend herself. They tumbled across the sunbeds, tickling and wrestling, their laughter echoing around the pool area. Nathalia’s initial jealousy melted away as they playfully fought, each trying to out-tickle the other. Eventually, they lay on the ground, panting and laughing, the tension between them dissolving into the warm air. “Well, we might have to work something out with Tony,” Anna said, still laughing, her arm draped over Nathalia as they caught their breath.
