However, Ellie decides to teach Paige how to use the defibrillator, so she places the paddles on the girl's chest without realizing that the defibrillator has actually charged and delivers a real shock to Paige. The nurse immediately goes into cardiac arrest and Ellie immediately begins CPR, calling a colleague who immediately comes in to help the girl.
