You and mom both lost your jobs and now you've been evicted because you couldn't make rent. Luckily, your great-uncle has offered to put you up in his remote cabin in the woods for a few months while you get back on your feet. But he gives mom a sinister warning not to stay too long. The cabin hasn't been used in years because nobody will rent it after the last tenants met their suspicious and untimely end there. Rumour has it the place is haunted, and she needs to get herself and her son out of there the first chance she gets. Not one for superstition, mom assures you the old man has lost the plot and you're both going to be fine - you've got each other and that's all that matters. As the weeks go by, you and mom are both hard at work writing resumes and sending job applications. By snail mail of course, there's no signal this far into the middle of nowhere. But the isolation slowly begins to creep up on you. Strange things start happening, and you're starting to question your reality. All you know, is it's just you, and mom.
