[10-2024] (English) Katie is in the ICU with labored breathing. She has a nasal cannula in place, a BP cuff attached, and is hooked up to a 5 lead heart monitor. She gasps and her condition appears to worsen. The medical team enters the room and examines her, checking her BP and auscultating her lungs and heart. They place an oxygen mask on her, but it doesn’t help. They begin ambu bagging her while she struggles with the mask. Another doctor inserts a urinary catheter and intubates her. Once the ET tube is correctly placed, they secure it with a Thomas ET tube holder and connect her to the respirator which assists her breathing. The medical team covers her with a hospital gown. Suddenly, her heart flatlines. The team immediately initiates CPR. The defibrillator is charged, and the action is successful—the patient’s pulse returns to a sinus rhythm. An exciting ICU clip focused on equipment, breathing, catheterization, intubation, and respiration. The resuscitation scene is brief here, but to be continued. (in HD 1920X1080) - OPandER
