Custom video. The story: The girl walks in for a dental cleaning and the hygienist (another person who will be cleaning your teeth) welcomes the girl in and tells her to lie down. The hygienist asks the girl: "When was the last time you had your teeth cleaned" while putting a dental bib on the girl. After answering, the hygienist examines the girl's teeth with just the dental mirror for now. The girl opens her mouth and the hygienist uses mirror to check all crevices of her mouth (No tongue, only interested in teeth). She carefully examines all the teeth. The hygienist then asks the girl to bite down and the hygienist runs finger along your front teeth commenting about how straight they are and asking if she had braces. The hygienist reflects mirror on the girls inner bottom teeth (your permanent retainer side) for at least 5 seconds (this part is important). The dental hygienist asks if you floss your permanent retainer. Hygienist runs finger across permanent retainer. After the response, the hygienist says that there is a lot of plaque build-up there and it needs to be cleaned while having mirror showing a permanent retainer(this is important) Next, the hygienist grabs a scalar and starts scaling/scraping the girls teeth (the hygienist will use her fingers or mirror to retract cheeks if they get in the way). Important to note that this part has to involve actual scaling/scraping, as in the scalar has to make contact and scale teeth resembling what a hygienist would do. I don't expect the guy to be an expert obviously but do the best he can please. He starts from the bottom back left and makes his way around, scraping as he goes and getting plaque off (actually trying to remove build-up and plaque everywhere). Spend at least 30 seconds cleaning just the outward-facing bottom 6 teeth like the video I linked below. After the outward-facing bottom teeth are done, scale the inner-facing bottom teeth (inward-facing or uvula side) bottom teeth. IMPORTANT: make sure to spend at least 1-2 minutes scaling just the bottom retainer. Use the mirror to do this while scaling (I have to see the permanent retainer getting cleaned). I need to see it in detail. The hygienist should comment on how much plaque buildup is there as he scales the permanent retainer. Next, move on to the outward-facing upper teeth starting from the back, and scale them all. Do the same for the inside-facing upper teeth (permanent retainer side, you don't have to spend too much time on the upper permanent retainer like the bottom). IMPORTANT: When scaling the very back teeth for any side, the hygienist should tell the girl to tilt her entire head to the right or left to scale the back upper teeth. Also, spend a little extra time on the front 4 teeth on the top. When all teeth are done. Put tools on a tray and tell the girl to come back in 6 months. Comment on how a lot of plaque was removed. You can fill in the blanks with your dialogue wherever it makes sense, just please make sure it makes sense in the context of a dental cleaning. Nothing sexual. Throughout this cleaning, make sure the hygienist knows to keep using the dental bib to clear out any plaque he is accumulating on the scalar. Use the mirror wherever it makes sense and wherever I note it.
