"The Staff of the Necromancer!" Coveted by occultists, diabolists and practitioners of the black arts, this accursed cane grants its wielder unbridled mastery over the unliving. In unscrupulous hands, its corruptive influence can lay waste to fertile ground, sunder flesh from bone, and unearth unspeakable horrors at the bearer's bidding. Which is why a crafty, curvaceous cutpurse (Anastasia Maye) has been hired to burgle it (for the greater good) from the staves' current possessor - a malevolent Magus of notorious repute. However, her best intentions prove her undoing when she's seized, shackled and taken captive! (by design, of course) It's easy enough to break free of her iron bonds, abscond with the staff and elude her captors. At least, that's what she schemed. Unfortunately, the fetching freebooter's best laid plans are waylaid by the relic's otherworldly, cadaverous guardians - skeletal serpents that snake and slither about her with bone-crushing malice and finality!
