I haven't had my hair professionally cut in years cuz I'm broke af and I like doing things on my own (why do you think I masturbate so much), plus hairdressers never seem to give me what I'm looking for. I'm surprisingly talented at cutting my hair how I want it, plus I've had years worth of practice. My hair has been getting too long in the back and I want a more bouncy, weightless effect so I get my shears, hit record, and get to work. I put my hair into tiny ponytails and cut off the excess. I grab bits here and there and cut them off, sometimes coming at them with the shears from below to create less blunt, more natural looking ends. I'm trying to create a layered look with a more rounded silhouette. I'm going for sort of an 80s vibe. I'm kinda winging it, I don't even have a hand mirror to see what I'm doing in the back, any real hairdresser would cringe their ass off watching this. But given my limited resources and knowledge, I gotta say I'm pretty happy with my work.
