Mia and Maia are doing a hand comparison, Mia’s hands are large and Maia’s hands are small. Maia measures her hand, which is 6 1/2 inches. Mia measures hers, and it is 7 1/2. Mia has a whole inch on Maia’s hands! Mia measures from her pinky to her thumb, and it is 8 inches. Maia is 7 1/4 inches. They decided to measure their pinky finger, and Mia’s is roughly 3 inches, and Maia’s is 2 1/2 inches. They measure the inside of their palm, and their middle finger…which are similar in size. They put lotion on their hands, and start to rub them together. Mia and Maia rub each others hands with lotion, then hold their hands up again for one last comparison.
