I want this to be a free video to see as a reference or resource for other people looking to get the same or similar surgery! 5 days ago I got peri areolar chest reconstruction surgery (mastectomy) performed by Dr. Berli at OHSU. He's wonderful. My chest was previously approx. size 32A (us). The procedure begins with an incision around the areola, then the tissue is sucked out with a lipo needle. The stitches around the areola are held in place with dermal glue and there were surgical drains (tubes ending ecternally in collection bulbs) coming from my sides which were removed about an hour prior to filming the video. The dark markings are from pre-surgery marks in purple marker :3 I'm supposed to wear an ace wrap for the next week or 2 to preven fluid build up, excess swelling/bruising, and to hold the proper shape while healing. Everything was very numb the first few days, but now that I'm regaining feeling I am very very sore. Hope this is helpful for people wanting this type of surgery or are just curious!
