Rylee is in cardiac arrest. Two rescuers arrive at the house and begin resuscitation maneuvers with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and cardiac massage. After several cycles of MTM and CPR the girl does not recover, so the doctor arrives with the defibrillator. Rylee's chest is exposed and several shocks are administered, but to no avail. The cycles of Cpr resume, continuous, fast, numerous, with deep compressions, but the girl doesn't respond. The AMBU alternates with compressions and the defibrillator many more times. The doctor continues to check the girl's chest, but can't hear her heart beating. As long as she hears a shockable rhythm and takes advantage of it right away.
