It’s time for your heart transplant surgery. You’ve been waiting so long for a heart transplant and the time has finally come. I’m your surgeon and will be taking care of you during this stressful time. I meet with you in pre-op to tell you everything will be okay and to answer any questions. The next time I see you we’re in the operating room. I have my surgical gown, teal surgical gloves, and mask on. I tell you to countdown from 10, then I start your surgery. The surgery was successful! I then see you again in your recovery room.
