Devoted as I am to science, I hope you'll enjoy joining me on this experiment. After reading a paragraph of my book aloud, I repeat the exercise. First with a mouth full of water, then with my mouth submerged in a bowl of water. Thirdly, I pinch my mouth into a figure of eight shape and re-read the paragraph, before finally experimenting by reading through a mouthful of delicious cake. Can you still understand me?
