[02-2024] Nesty is in ICU with breathing difficulties. She is wearing a hospital gown with a nasal cannula and BP cuff placed and is hooked up to a 5 lead heart monitor. Her breathing gets worse, and the med team comes in to check her vitals. They place an O2 mask onto the nasal cannula, check her BP and auscultate her with a stethoscope. Suddenly Nesty starts seizing and her breathing collapses. The med team starts ambu bagging her, and as she fights for her breath they must begin to intubate her. When they affix the ET tube, they continue the bagging. Soon the patient’s heart goes to Vfib and the doctors start CPR with deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response. The med team produces a few more cycles of resus when finally the patient’s pulse returns to normal rhythm.
