Baby J is lying on the floor, happily playing with his little monkey on his soft blanket in the kitchen. It's time for his bottle, so I gently take the pacifier out of his mouth and give him the bottle instead. While he’s drinking, I sit next to him, unfasten his plastic pants, and check his diaper—it’s very full! After giving it a few squeezes and pats, I tell him it’s time to head to the bathroom for a change, and he starts crawling after me.
