I bring baby J into the kitchen to get his bottle ready. While it’s warming up, I take off his plastic pants and check his diaper — it’s really full of pee and quite messy! But before changing him, I sit him down and put on his bib so he can enjoy his bottle first . As he drinks, I show him how wet and full his diaper is, giving him a little smile. Once he’s finished, it’s straight to the shower for a fresh, clean start!
